Join us for the 9th Annual Clean Water Captains' training at CBF's Brock Environmental Center in Virginia Beach!
CBF's Clean Water Captains program seeks to create a network of ambassadors for clean water in every Virginia locality. This annual training provides Captains and prospective Captains with the most up-to-date information on local, state, and federal issues and ways they can take action to protect waterways. This year’s workshop will include programming such as
Programming begins on Saturday, September 21 at 9:00 a.m. and ends Sunday, September 22 at 12:30 p.m. Lodging at First Landing State Park is available on a first come, first served basis for the evenings of Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21. If you would like to tent camp at First Landing, you should reserve your site directly. If you prefer to obtain your own lodging, you can download local accommodations information. Coffee, snacks, lunch, and dinner are provided on Saturday, and breakfast will be provided on Sunday.

For guests arriving early or living locally, we have reserved a large table at the Dockside Restaurant (a fun, reasonably priced seafood restaurant on the water, across from the Brock Center) for dinner Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Please let us know your intent when you register so that we can ensure an accurate count.
