Join the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore for another season of growing oysters with the Great Baltimore Oyster Partnership (GBOP).
The GBOP is hosting this workshop to build oyster gardening cages, talk about oysters as filters and productive habitat in the Chesapeake Bay and Baltimore Inner Harbor.
Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty.
Children 10 years old and up are welcome. They will be required to wear a life jacket near the water.
- CBF requires masks for all attendees, whether the event is held indoors or outdoors, when physical distancing isn’t possible.
- CBF requires that all indoor event attendees be vaccinated and strongly recommends that attendees of our outdoor events are vaccinated.
- If you or an immediate family member have symptoms of, or have been diagnosed with, COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from participating and contact the event manager directly to cancel, make alternative plans, or if you have questions.
- For the health and safety of our volunteers, CBF requires that all volunteers complete CBF’s Health and COVID Screening Form prior to engaging in any volunteer efforts. This includes conducting a personal COVID health screening prior to the start of the event.
