Have you ever wondered where the oysters on your table come from? More and more, these delicious delicacies are being produced on oyster farms, where they contribute to improving the Bay's water quality and habitat before hitting your table.

Join CBF and Friends of the Rappahannock to sample local oysters from Rogue Oysters and brews from Smartmouth Brewing while learning about the ins and outs of oyster farming from a local oyster grower, oyster restoration, and the Chesapeake Oyster Alliance.

Tickets are $10 each for CBF and Friends of the Rappahannock members or $20 each for non-members. The ticket price includes all-you-can-eat raw oysters and beer. You must be age 21 or over to attend.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact Peyton Mowery at 757-644-4125 or pmowery@cbf.org.

We're sorry, the deadline for buying tickets for this event has passed.
