REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Join us to create a forest buffer on a farm in the Shenandoah Valley. These trees will help reduce runoff pollution and erosion, creating healthier streams and improving soil health. Over the course of three days, we will be planting more than 1,000 saplings.
All tools and instructions will be provided. We recommend you bring a pair of work gloves, but we will have clean sets available for those who do not have them. Wear weather-appropriate clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring your own water bottle. Please register below so we can prepare tools appropriately.
COVID-19 Precautions:
We will be limiting the number of volunteers who can participate in this event due to COVID-19 restrictions. Please only register if you intend to participate on the day of the event. If you find that your schedule or health prevents you from being able to attend, if you have recently had contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus, or if you or a family member have a fever or any coronavirus symptoms, please notify us immediately so we can recruit another volunteer in your place.
If you have questions, please contact Virginia Restoration Specialist Alston Horn at ahorn@cbf.org or 540-487-9060.
