Riparian Buffer Planting - Grace Creek

Saturday, October 16, 2021
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Talbot County, MD

Registration closes October 14.

Join CBF in Talbot County to plant 630 native trees and shrubs on a farm along Grace Creek as part of the Envision the Choptank restoration initiative. We will partner with ShoreRivers on this project, with funding provided through the WGL Energy/Sterling Planet Carbon Reduction Fund and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

This event is suitable for adults and families. Plan to dress for the weather, as this event is outdoors and will be rain or shine. Bring shovels, work gloves, a reusable water bottle, and lunch. We will have a limited number of clean gloves and shovels available at the site.

COVID-19 Precautions:

  • CBF requires CDC-approved masks for all attendees at indoor events or outdoor events when physical distancing isn’t possible.
  • CBF requires that all indoor event attendees be vaccinated and strongly recommends that attendees of our outdoor events are vaccinated.
  • We will sanitize all CBF equipment prior to volunteer use and upon return.
  • All participants will also be required to complete CBF's Health and COVID Screening form prior to attending. This includes conducting a personal COVID health screening prior to the start of the event.
