Join us in Montgomery County at the Glenstone Museum to celebrate the return of fall. In the spring and fall, Glenstone hosts a planting day in honor of Arbor Day and invites schools and other community groups who would enjoy experiencing the campus, learning about the benefits of trees and how to plant them, and enjoying refreshments and camaraderie. Glenstone’s own associates work side-by-side with community members and are available to answer questions about art, architecture, and nature. The fall 2021 event is planned for two sessions on October 27, one in the morning (9:00-11:30 a.m.) and this one in the afternoon (1:00-3:30 p.m.), each limited to 20 volunteers.
About the Museum: Glenstone is a contemporary art museum in Potomac, Maryland, 15 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. The museum's mission is to demonstrate the seamless integration of art, architecture, and nature in a serene and contemplative environment.
