Maryland, Pennsylvania, and D.C. principals and other school leaders are invited to join CBF for a three-day immersive adventure exploring the Bay and the unique waterman’s community on Tangier Island. Participants will learn how to use environmental education to enhance learning in any curricular area in a way that empowers staff and engages students. We will also explore the positive effects that environmental education has on student mental health and well-being, discipline, and building 21st century skills. You will be able to network and share ideas with other principals from around the watershed and learn how to certify as a green school.
Length & Location: 3 days/2 nights at CBF's Port Isobel Island Environmental Education Center.
Cost: No fee due to support from the Doherty Foundation.
