In Memory of Senator Paul Sarbanes

Senator Paul Sarbanes was a great champion of the Chesapeake Bay. He fought tirelessly for Bay restoration and played an integral role in establishing the system we currently have in place to achieve a restored Bay. We're honored his family has selected the Chesapeake Bay Foundation as a charity to honor his memory and his commitment to a restored and protected Chesapeake Bay.

CBF is committed to making the Bay and its rivers and streams—from New York to Virginia—healthy and productive again. CBF is working towards a saved Bay, with sustainable populations of crabs, fish, and oysters; of waters where our children and grandchildren can swim safely.
