I have made a pledge to get outside and walk a 200 miles, with my team - the approximate length of the Chesapeake Bay. Now more than ever I need the fresh air, energy of the world coming alive and restorative power of nature to fuel me! The girls and I have purchased gloves and littler grabbers to pick up litter while we walk.
I have worked for CBF for the last 4 years (wow, 4 already) and it is no secret (for those who know me well) that I put a lot of passion and energy into my work. That is also why I choose to work for organizations that can fuel me, challenge me and provide me the opportunity to do good in the world.
Join me and help continue the progress CBF has made over the last 50 years.
Every little bit makes a big difference:
- $25 can plant five native trees as a stream side buffer.
- $50 can grow 5,000 native oysters.
- $140 can send two students for a day of learning in and around the Bay.
- $500 can build 10 reef balls which are effective and safe artificial homes for oysters.
