YO! I love oysters. You love clean water. Fish also love clean water. I dunno where I'm going with this but honestly lets agree that a clean Chesapeake Bay is important.
Did you know an oyster can clean 80 gallons of water a day? Thats 16 office water coolers a DAY! Thats 225,000,000,000 oysters needed to clean the whole bay in a day. There are currently only 400,000,000 oysters in the bay. So it takes 45,000 days for those oysters to turn over the water.
Enough math Sergius, what's the point?
I want clean water and fresh oysters to eat. We need $$ for more oysters. So donate here. I don't care how much. But lets say it's $1 an oyster so pick a number and save that many oysters.
I appreciate it, you'll feel good, and the bay will be clean one day.
Thanks for listening to my ted talk. Cheers.
