Welcome to my Chesapeake Bay Foundation Walk the Watershed page.

Over the past weeks I have been raisng awareness and vital funding towards the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) mission to SAVE the Bay. Every dollar raised supports restoration and education efforts across the watershed. This important work provides a stable ecosystem for the 18 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals throughout the watershed.  My pledge for this event was to walk 150 miles and to raise $150 while doing so.  I ended the event raising $218 and logging 150.2 miles.

Thank you for supporting my efforts.  Together, the BAY SAVERS are proud to have taken steps towards clean air, clean water, and sustainable resources for all. A healthy Chesapeake Bay means a healthy community. 

Every gift made a difference!

·    $25 can plant five native trees as a streamside buffer.

·    $50 can grow 5,000 native oysters.

·    $140 can send two students for a day of learning in and around the Bay.

·    $500 can build 10 reef balls which are effective and safe artificial homes for oysters.
