Thank You 2021 Walk the Watershed Participants!
Healthy Community, Healthy Bay
Thank you to everyone who made the 2021 Walk the Watershed such a tremendous success! Hundreds of participants took the pledge to focus on their personal health and focus on the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Teams from across the country walked, ran, swam, paddled, and biked a combined 200 miles, the approximate length of the Chesapeake Bay. They spread the save the Bay message and raised critical funding every step of the way.
CBF's mission to Save the Bay creates a stable ecosystem for the diverse community of people, plants, and animals living throughout the watershed. With Walk the Watershed we took steps towards clean water, clean air, and sustainable resources for all. With programs like tree plantings, crop rotations, and education a healthy Bay means a healthy community.
